Tasmanian Big Tree Poster Triple Set

$65.00

Our best value deal! All our Tasmanian Giants Lathamus Keep Eucalyptus globulus 100cm x 30cm Gandalf’s Staff Eucalyptus regnans (100cm x 30cm) and Winter Trident Eucalyptus obliqua (100cm x 36cm) posters shipped to you in one tube.

Lathamus Keep is the world champion blue gum (Eucalyptus globulus) poster print. Our biggest tree portrait ever. This tree has been a very big part of our lives for so long now. It’s not just a Tree Portrait but also an icon of what we are still losing here in Tasmania. Our campaign to save this tree from logging has lead us and the Tasmanian big tree community into an empowering space. Together we discovered this area holds 76 trees 15 metres in girth and an additional 10 trees that qualify for protection.

Gandalfs Staff is a Eucalyptus regnans commonly called swamp gum in Tasmania or mountain ash in Victoria. This 84m 280 cubic meter beast of a specimen is possibly Tasmania’s most famous tree. It dominates the Tolkien Grove a stand of giant trees located in the Styx Valley Tasmania.

Winter Trident is a prime example of a Eucalyptus obliqua at 71 meters tall. Commonly called stringybark here in Tasmania and messmate on the mainland of Australia. The Winter Trident is located at the Lady Binney Reserve in the Florentine Valley where one of the best big tree walks is found.

Materials

These posters are our most affordable option. Printed using a quality CMYK 4 colour process on 200gsm satin paper. If you are thinking about investing in a frame for the poster we do recommend spending that bit more on a Canson Platine cotton fiber print.

“The beauty of your Tree Portraits is that the giants will continue to grow and it feels like my print will grow with it. Thank you so much, I love it.”
